TERMS

Terms of use

Effective date: 2026-05-11. WillGridUS is an informational resource only. Use of this site does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Who you're contracting with

Not legal advice

Information presented on WillGridUS is general legal information about U.S. state probate codes, the Uniform Probate Code, and the Uniform Electronic Wills Act. It is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and WillGridUS or Desymphony EOOD. Consult an estate-planning attorney admitted in your jurisdiction for guidance on your specific situation.

No attorney-client relationship

Reading the site, using the decoder, browsing the state pages, or contacting us via the contact form does not establish an attorney-client relationship. We do not represent you.

Accuracy and verification

We strive to pin every claim to a primary source (state legislature, Cornell LII, ULC tracker). Despite this discipline, statutes change, courts revise interpretations, and we may not catch every revision immediately. We expressly disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. See our methodology page for the verification posture and the PLACEHOLDER-cell discipline.

Decoder outputs

The decoder is a deterministic engine over a 9-axis state-rule matrix. It can identify cases of clear validity, cases of clear invalidity, and cases of genuine uncertainty. Its output is informational — not a prediction of how any particular probate court will rule on any particular will.

Affiliate disclosure

When affiliate programs (LegalZoom Last Will, Trust & Will, Rocket Lawyer, Nolo Online Will) are approved and active, WillGridUS may earn a commission from purchases made via referral links. Recommendations are editorial. Affiliate revenue does not gate access to the decoder, the state pages, or the statute pins.

Intellectual property

The state-rule manifest schema, decoder engine logic, brand identity, and editorial content are the property of Desymphony EOOD. Statute text quoted on the site is from public-domain U.S. state and federal law and is not subject to copyright.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither WillGridUS nor Desymphony EOOD will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of your access to or use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts of New Castle County, Delaware. (When Desymphony forms a U.S. legal entity, this governing-law clause will update to reflect.)
